The Library of the Department of Statistical Sciences is organized into the following two locations:

  • Main Location - former Department of Statistics, Probability and Applied Statistics (DSPSA): located on the third floor of the building Department headquarters in the Città Universitaria campus; overall, it holds approximately 30,000 volumes;
  • Regina Elena Location - former Department of Social, Economic, Actuarial and Demographic Studies (DSSEAD): located in building G Department headquarters in Viale Regina Elena no. 295; overall, it holds approximately 55,000 volumes originating from three Departments – Actuarial and Financial Sciences, Demographic Sciences and Economic Sciences (Sylos Labini Library) – which merged into DSSEAD in 2008.

The library locations are open not only for reading rooms, but also for loan and reference services according to the following hours:

Main Location
  • Reading Room 1: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Reading Room 2: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Loan services: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Regina Elena Location
  • Reading Room: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Loan services: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

For requests concerning materials located at the Regina Elena site, up to four working days may be required to process the request.
