The Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT) (http://www.isrt.ac.bd/), University of Dhaka is one of the foremost institutions for training and research in Applied Statistics in Bangladesh. The Institute is organizing the 2nd International Conference on Applied Statistics (ICAS). The theme of the conference is 'Emerging Challenges in a Data-Centric World'. The main objectives of this conference are to highlight the challenges and discuss the solutions to emerging statistical problems in the era of the data revolution. ICAS promises a rich scientific programme comprising keynote, plenary and invited paper sessions featuring eminent statisticians from around the world, as well as contributed paper sessions. Researchers, academicians and representatives from business, industry, government and non-government organizations are invited to participate in this academically inspiring and culturally fulfilling event. Deadline for submission of abstracts: October 15, 2019 and for registration: December 20, 2019.
