Procedures for requesting a channel change by students enrolled in the three L-41 Bachelor’s Degree Programmes of the Department of Statistical Sciences
This procedure applies only to courses divided into channels (based on the initial letter of students’ surnames) in the first semester of the first year of the three degree programmes in class L-41, namely:
- Linear Algebra
- Computer Science
- Statistics
Types of requests
- Newly enrolled students and students in their first year
- Students enrolled up to and including the first year beyond the standard duration
- Students enrolled from the second year beyond the standard duration onwards
Procedure
1) Newly enrolled students and students in their first year
- Requests must be submitted by email to the Teaching Office of the Department of Statistical Sciences (didattica-dss@uniroma1.it) by the deadline indicated each year in the Degree Programme Catalogue;
- Requests must be supported by valid reasons and are evaluated by the President of the degree programme, who decides whether to approve them after consulting the other two Presidents.
2) Students enrolled up to and including the first year beyond the standard duration
- Requests concern individual channelled courses and must be submitted by email to the Teaching Office of the Department of Statistical Sciences (didattica-dss@uniroma1.it) at least one month before the start of the examination session;
- Requests must be supported by valid reasons and are evaluated by the President of the degree programme, who decides whether to approve them after consulting the other two Presidents;
- The request must be submitted only once and, in the event of a failed exam, it does not need to be resubmitted.
3) Students enrolled from the second year beyond the standard duration onwards
- Requests concern individual courses and must be submitted by email to the Teaching Office of the Department of Statistical Sciences (didattica-dss@uniroma1.it) at least one month before the start of the examination session;
- Requests are authorized by the President of the degree programme, after consulting the other two Presidents;
- The request must be submitted only once and, in the event of a failed exam, it does not need to be resubmitted.
