 Starting from a.a. 2015-2016 the new curriculum OFFICIAL STATISTICS will be provided for this program.

Although most of the courses are in Italian, this curriculum was labelled as a EMOS (European Master in Official Statistics) program by the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC), a committee chaired by Eurostat and constituted by the delegates of the National Statistical Institutes of the members of the European Community. This curriculum belongs to a european network together with the Universities of Helsinki, Rennes, Trier, Firenze, Pisa, Utrecht, Lisbona, Orebro, Ljubljana, Southampton.

The main differences with respect to the other available curricula are the following:

  • Detailed analysis of the topics connected to Official Statistics
  • Mandatory internship at one of the partner Official Statistics Institutes (e.g. ISTAT, Banca d'Italia, Ministero degli Esteri)
  • Thesis in collaboration with one of the above mentioned partner Official Statistics Institutes

The final degree in OFFICIAL STATISTICS is also accompanied by an EMOS (European Master in Official Statistics) certificate.
