Position: since 2019: Full Professor at the DSS- University of Rome "La Sapienza"., currently Head of the Department.
Research:
Environmental Statistics: Ecology, climatology, geostatistics and space-time models. Multivariate estreme values. Environmental indicators: definition and evaluation. Environmental risk assessment. Bayesian modeling of directional data.
Circular and directional statistics.
